Blackberry vs iPhone

As much as the iPhone wants to be perceived as a matured enterprise level phone, the Blackberry wants to be perceived as a multimedia phone. Both having equally unique qualities puzzle the choices of buyers to choose from design, multimedia, usability, camera, internet browser and more.

Design

The Blackberry looks rather solid but conservative and the iPhone looks modern but fragile.

Keyboard

Both uses the QWERTY keyboard. The blackberry solid physical keyboard gives user the satisfaction of the conventioanl typing while the iPhone’s virtual keyboard gives a better speed to type with its high sensitivity touchscreen. The BlackBerry Storm however provides two option of keyboard, the keyboard would be switched to the QWERTY keyboard when in landscape position and to number keyboard when in portrait position.

Battery

The Blackberry’s battery can be replaced when it has depleted, but the new version of iPhone’s battery claimed to be able to last much longer even for long use.

Camera

Both are equally the same with 3.2 megapixels and does not surpass the quality of most phone manufacturing industry that is now providing 5 megapixel cameras.

The IPhone is a multimedia phone that comes with tools for music, videos, games and other applications being a really entertaining phone. Whereas the Blackberry is a solid business centric looking phone that gives better enhancement for your corporate dailies such as guided turn-by-turn GPS direction and better email system for heavy email users.
